EUCARISTIA / EUCHARIST

A Eucaristia é "a fonte e o cume da vida cristã". Os outros sacramentos, e aliás todos os ministérios eclesiais e obras do apostolado, estão ligados à Eucaristia e a ela orientados. Pois na Santíssima Eucaristia está contido todo o bem espiritual da Igreja, isto é, o próprio Cristo, a nossa Páscoa.

A Eucaristia é o sinal eficaz e a causa sublime daquela comunhão na vida divina e daquela unidade do Povo de Deus pela qual a Igreja se mantém. É o culminar tanto da ação de Deus que santifica o mundo em Cristo como da adoração que os homens oferecem a Cristo e, por meio d’Ele, ao Pai no Espírito Santo.

Finalmente, pela celebração eucarística, já nos unimos à liturgia celeste e antecipamos a vida eterna, quando Deus será tudo em todos.

Em síntese, a Eucaristia é a síntese e o resumo da nossa fé: "O nosso modo de pensar está em sintonia com a Eucaristia, e a Eucaristia, por sua vez, confirma o nosso modo de pensar".

A Divina Liturgia da Missa é celebrada sete dias por semana na Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Fátima.

Exposição do Santíssimo Sacramento:
Primeira sexta-feiras do mês, das 9:30 A.M. às 12:00 (meio-dia) (de setembro a junho).

Missas diárias (de segunda a sexta-feira):
9:00 A.M. (durante todo o ano).

Missa diária aos sábados:
9:00 A.M.

Missas aos domingos:
5:30 P.M. (Vespertina em antecipação de domingo);

7:30 A.M.; 9:00 A.M.; 10:15 A.M.; e 11:30 A.M.

The Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life." The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.

The Eucharist is the efficacious sign and sublime cause of that communion in the divine life and that unity of the People of God by which the Church is kept in being. It is the culmination both of God's action sanctifying the world in Christ and of the worship men offer to Christ and through Him to the Father in the Holy Spirit.

Finally, by the Eucharistic celebration we already unite ourselves with the heavenly liturgy and anticipate eternal life, when God will be all in all.

In brief, the Eucharist is the sum and summary of our faith: "Our way of thinking is attuned to the Eucharist, and the Eucharist in turn confirms our way of thinking."

The Divine Liturgy of the Mass is celebrated seven days a week at Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament:
First Fridays of the month from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM (September through June).

Daily Masses (Monday through Friday):

9:00 AM (year-round).

Saturday Daily Mass:
9:00 AM

Sunday Masses:
5:30 PM Saturday evening (anticipation of Sunday);
7:30 AM; 9:00 AM; 10:15 AM; and 11:30 PM.
