CONFRARIA DO ROSÁRIO / ROSARY SOCIETY
“A Santíssima Virgem, nestes últimos tempos em que vivemos, deu uma nova eficácia à recitação do Rosário, a tal ponto que não há problema, por mais difícil que seja, seja temporal ou sobretudo espiritual, na vida pessoal de cada um de nós, das nossas famílias… que não possa ser resolvido pelo Rosário. Não há problema, digo-vos, por mais difícil que seja, que não possamos resolver pela oração do santo terço (Rosário).”

A Confraria de Nossa Senhora do Rosário é uma organização feminina dedicada a Nossa Senhora e ao Rosário através da oração, da comunhão e do serviço – e acolhe sempre novas sócias. Pode aderir à Confraria do Rosário participando nos encontros mensais (de setembro a junho) no porão (basement) da Casa Paroquial, na primeira terça-feira de cada mês, às 8h15 PM. Rezamos o Rosário todos os sábados antes da Missa das 5h30 da tarde.

Our Rosary Society is a women’s organization dedicated to our Blessed Mother and the Rosary through prayer, fellowship, and service – and it always welcomes new members. You can join the Rosary Society by attending monthly (from September through June) gatherings in the Rectory´s lower level on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:15 PM. We pray the Rosary every Saturday before the 5:30 PM Mass.
É também bem-vinda a participar nas reuniões mensais da Confraria, que se realizam na segunda terça-feira de cada mês, após a Missa das 7h30 PM. Muitas destas reuniões contam com oradores convidados, eventos especiais e outras atividades.
A Confraria realiza também eventos comunitários em parceria com a Sociedade do Santo Nome. Eventos em conjunto inclui: o Cozido à Portuguêsa (antes da quaresma); Festa do Dia da Mães (no 2º Domingo de Maio); Magusto de São Martinho (domingo próximo do 11 de Novembro).

You are also welcome to attend the Society’s monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month after the 7:30 PM Mass, with many meetings featuring guest speakers, other special events and activities.
The Society also organizes community events in partnership with the Holy Name Society. Joint events include: Cozido à Portuguesa (before Lent); Mother's Day celebration (on the 2nd Sunday of May); and the St. Martin's Day Chestnut Roast (the Sunday closest to November 11th).
